Dr Charles Sheridan graduated with a BDSc from the University of Melbourne in 1996.  He spent several years working in private general dental practice in both Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula.  In 1999 he took up a position as Senior House Officer in oral & maxillofacial surgery in the UK and completed the MDSc & GradDipClinDent program in orthodontics at the University of Melbourne in 2002.  Since then he has maintained full-time private specialist orthodontic practice.  

As a recipient of the Australian Society of Orthodontists' Sam Bulkley Traveling Fellowship in 2002, Charlie undertook a period of further research at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.  In addition, he was a member of the Federal ASO Public Relations Committee and a founding committee member of the ASO 'Give a Smile' program, with Drs Ted Crawford and John Armitage.  He has attained Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the specialist field of Orthodontics.  

He is a registered specialist in orthodontics with AHPRA, a member of the Australian Dental Association, has published scientific research in the Australian Orthodontic Journal and has presented at the ASO Foundation for Research & Education and the biennial conference of the International Association for Craniofacial Identification.  Additionally, he has a Masters degree in Forensic Medicine from Monash University and is a member of the Australian Society of Forensic Odontology. Charlie has two children - Isabella and Hugh, and in his spare time enjoys music, photography and spending time with his family.
